He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Meerman and Ethel Meerman; his children, Janet and Jim; and his siblings, Dorothy and Jim.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann (Farrell); his children, Joe Meerman (Julie), Diane Meerman, Jon Meerman (Sharon), Julia Christie (Ben), Jill Meerman and Jayne Schoenborn (Kevin); and his sister-in-law Jeri Farrell. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
