With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Barkel (Coopersville, Michigan), born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on November 2, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harold McBride and Evelyn Smith McBride; her husband Henry J. Barkel; her sons, Stephen Brian Barkel, Barry M Barkel (Audrey), Joel A Barkel (Dawn) and Gregory T Barkel (Relinda); her daughter-in-law Renee Barkel; and her close friend George Wohlheter. She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
