It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Marie Klaus of Cooks, Michigan, born in Onaway, Michigan, who passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Raymond Hulla and Helen Marie Winkle of Manistique, MI.; her children, Ellanie Stella-Marie Ferrari (Ballas), Dan Klaus of Lake, MI. and Bill Ballas (Andrea) of Clarkston, MI.; her grandchildren, Tiffany, Brendon, Timothy, Tyson, Hannah and Teegan; her husband Thomas Klaus; and her brother-in-law Steve DeRousha.
