He was predeceased by: his parents, Shadie Banks (Patricia) and Lula Banks (Perry); his daughter Meriam; and his siblings, Shadie Jr., Lonnie, Leeburn (Lando), Daniel, Ralph, Everett, Bertha Mahaffey, Jeannette Banks, Etta O'Hair, Ethel Hackett and Edith White.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Murray; and his children, Bill Banks (Amy) of Aberdeen, MD, Lora Banks of Garden, MI and Becky Dennis (Henry) of Cooks, MI.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and close family friends.
