He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George A Swagart and Hazel I. Swagart (Betzer); his significant other Frances A. (Westerberg); his brother Gaylord; his son Gary Thomas; his granddaughter Mandy; his siblings, Leonard of Garden, MI and Isadeane Applebee (Clare) of Ovid, MI; and his sons, Dock (Debby), Glenn (Vicky), David (Cindy) and Clay (Laurie). He was also cherished by many grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Schoolcraft Medical Care Facility or D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans Post Fund in Marquette.
