He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Jenson Flatland and Helen Eloise Butler Flatland of Constantine, MI.; and his sister Nancy Monroe. He is survived by: his wife's children, Heather, Holly and Tim; his wife Roberta Spangle (Bobbie); his children, Heather Farnham (Mark) of Northbrook, Holly Briggeman (Jeff) of Evanston and Tim Flatland (Ashley) of Evanston; his siblings, Jerry Flatland (Sandy) of West Chester and Anne Flatland Voss of Kansas City, MO; and his grandchildren, Jensen, Maia, Owen, Luke, Hannah, Sophie, Benjamin, Tatum, Vivian, Jack and Eloise. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
