As Ruby Anita departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ruby Anita may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ruby Anita leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hall and Clarissa Hall (Bridenstine); her husband Roy G. Slagle Jr.; her son Roy Slagle III; her son-in-law Daniel Miller; and her sisters, Ruth Yoder and Mary Alice Roeder.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Slagle (Charlene) of Nappanee, Sonna Shrock (Rick) of Constantine, MI and Sue Miller of Sarasota, FL. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home (950 N Main St, Nappanee, IN 46550-1002). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
