He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Skelton and Sadie Skelton; his siblings, Frances Hoopingarner, Lillian Holderman, Thomas, William and Herman Jr. Skelton; and his half-brothers, Russell, Elwood and Joseph Skelton.

He is survived by: his sisters, Eleanor Pashby of Constantine and Elizabeth Rentfrow of White Pigeon; and his girlfriend Abbie Potee of Constantine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
