He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl King and Bernice King (Artley); his wife Peggy Leister; his son Gregory King; and his siblings, William King, Lois Kugler and Eleanor Hemminger.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Bell (David) of White Pigeon, Vicki Freshour (Lonnie) of White Pigeon, Gary King (Marla) of White Pigeon and Robert King (Monica) of White Pigeon; his grandchildren, Angela Happner (Jeff), Kathy King, Rachel Peters (Andy), Robert J. King, Luke King, Zach King, Eric King (Brittany), Kelly Davis (Sam), Kara Freshour and Arica Freshour; and his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Hannah, Lily, Isaiah, Elena, Ava, Wesley, Gabe, Marc, Noah, Avery, Tucker, Bristol and Grady. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
