He was predeceased by: his parents, Rueben Reiff and Vera Reiff (Luft); his son Gene Reiff Jr.; his son-in-law Alan Moore Jr.; and his brothers, Roy, Otto, Calvin and Rueben Reiff Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Eash; his daughters, Brenda Moore, Middlebury and Diana Fisher (Jim); and his stepchildren, Danyl Royce (Cindy), White Pigeon, Dana Sparling (Jon) and Constantine. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
