Genevieve Hartwig Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2024, at the age of 83, Genevieve Hartwig (Concord, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Glass and Betty Glass; her brother Joe; and her husband Dale Hartwig. She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Freehafer (Dave) and Jennifer Rapelje (Jeff); her grandchildren, Kayla Tripp (Jesse), Amanda Berends (Jordan), Aaron Freehafer (Maggie), Jacob Rapelje, Joey Rapelje, Jonny Rapelje, Ayrianna, MaKynna, Kiliyn and Kavary; and her nieces and nephews, Bill Glass (Caroline), Robert Glass, Cyndy McNett (Shane), Bryan Glass (Amanda), Laurie Glass and Valerie Ibarra.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Concord (201 Hanover St, Concord, MI 49237). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that gifts be made to The First Presbyterian Church of Concord in Gene's name.
