It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Higgins of Comstock Park, Michigan, born in Kenton, Ohio, who passed away on November 12, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Higgins and Idella Higgins (Theil); and his brothers, Bill, Tom, Larry, Basil and Terry Higgins.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Higgins (Jo); his children, Troy Higgins (Stephanie), Amber Gustafson (Scott) and Tim Heemstra; his grandsons, Zachary and Nicholas Gustafson; his siblings, Dirk Higgins (Holly), Bev Bell (Wayne), Rachel Higgins, Anita Trautwein (Bill) and Sheila Higgins; and his close friends, Jill, Tim and Jim.
