As we bid adieu to Merlin's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Merlin has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Westrick and Mildred Westrick (Fasbender); his wife Sarah Ann Westrick; and his siblings, Eldon Westrick and Evelyn Krause.
He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Ann Westrick; and his sister-in-law Jane Calahan.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the Beuschel Funeral Home (5018 Alpine Ave NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321). A Mass was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (1200 Alpine Church Rd NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321).
