He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Pokora and Bernice Pokora (Suchowolec); his brother Joseph; and his sister-in-law Diane Pokora (Van Shoten). He is survived by: his wife Marie Helena Pokora (Gedris); his daughters, Valerie McCloskey (Jim) and Rachel Pokora (Kevin Bower); and his grandsons, Colin McCloskey and Dylan McCloskey.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the Beuschel Funeral Home (5018 Alpine Ave NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (1120 4 Mile Rd NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525).
