Walter Caplan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2024, Walter Caplan of Commerce Township, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Walter shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Walter farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Andrea Caplan Okun (Allyn) and Barney Caplan (Kelly); his grandchildren, Zoe Okun and Joss Okun; his siblings, Elaine Landay (Martin) and David Caplan; and his nieces and nephews, Diane Landay, Stuart Landay (Sue), Bruce Landay (Barbara), Alena Kourkouliotis and Lisa Kourkoulitis (Jeffrey). He was also cherished by other loving family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Dorfman Chapel- Main Chapel. A shiva was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 and on Monday, December 2nd 2024.
