He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Reinhold Matthias Schuler (Michele) and Elsie Marie Schuler (Rettke) of Germany; his brother Eugene John Schuler (Gene); and his brother-in-law Dale Douglas Britt. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Schuler (Whetstone); his children, Michael (Jennifer) and Michele (Thomas); his grandchildren, Ryan, Steven, Haley, Jay, Camden, Sierra and Reese; his great grandchild Aurora; his sisters, Hilda Schmoll (Alex) and Irene Britt (Dale); and his sister-in-law Barbara Schuler (Gene).
