Marilyn Ruth McGurn Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2025, at the age of 88, Marilyn Ruth McGurn of Commerce Township, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Marilyn Ruth had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Marilyn Ruth may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas McGurn; her sister Carol Stak; and her grandchild Bree Ranta. She is survived by: her children, Ellen Ranta (Brian) and Dan McGurn (Moe); and her grandchildren, Shauna Ranta and Flynn McGurn. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Milford (404 E Liberty St, Milford Charter Twp, MI 48381). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 1:00 PM.
