He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Card and Betty Card (Hamaker). He is survived by: his daughters, Kristen Meyer (Joseph Eickhoff) of Burton, MI, Tara Johnson (Brian) of Burton, MI and Blanche Pena of Flint, MI; his grandchildren, Gwendolyn Meyer and Temperance Johnson; his girlfriend Denise Paglia; and his siblings, Ben Card (Karen), Dan Card (Susan), Jennifer Griggs (Steve), Anne Taylor (David) and Sara Hensel (Rob). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many loving family members and good friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Burton VFW Post 2777, in Joel's memory.
