He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Stein Garon; and his parents, Ida Goldman and Max Goldman. He is survived by: the mother of his children Bernice Tauber Garon; his children, Audrey Friedman (Peter), Larry Garon (Lori Brode), Carol Emer (Randy) and Amy Garon Rosenfeld; his grandchildren, Andrew Garon, Bradley Garon (Sarah), Ilana Lichtenstein (Richie), Eric Emer, Toby Kerslake (Dave), Joely Pfeiffer (Alex), Marlee Barrison (Dylan), Raquel Rosenfeld, Danny Rosenfeld and Zach Rosenfeld; his great grandchildren, Freddy Pfeiffer, Jack Pfeiffer and Margot Lichtenstein; and his brother Jay Goldman.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ira Kaufman Chapel (18325 W Nine Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48075). A burial will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Machpelah Cemetery (21701 Woodward Ave, Ferndale, MI 48220).
