It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Joan Craigie of Commerce Township, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Karl Smith; her sons, Orval Craigie and Robert Ernest Craigie III (Stephanie Comer); her husband Robert Ernest Craigie Jr.; her mother Helen Somerville (Baranoski); her stepfather Orval Somerville; her daughter Leslie A. Craigie (John Henke III); her grandchildren, Siena and Luca Craigie; and her nieces and nephews, James, Jeffrey, John Meadows, Janet Allweiss, Pamela Doute and Stephen Craigie.
Memorials may be made in her name to Best Friends Animal Society.
