She was predeceased by: her parents, George Carroll and Mildred Carroll (Covey); her former husband Eugene Layman, Sr.; her husband Donald Sheldon; and her daughter Vickie Toyra.
She is survived by: her son Eugene "Sam" Layman, Jr. (Dana) of Comins, Michigan; and her grandchildren, Ryan Layman (Raine), David Layman (Maria), Katie Freel (Kevin), Jacob Layman (Laurin), Billy Toyra, Nicole Miller and Karry Vignaroli (Carlo). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
