She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Rutherford and Ruth Rutherford; her stepmother Autry Rutherford; her siblings, Sarah Burleson and Earl Rutherford; her daughter Patty LaPlace; and her parents-in-law, J. W. and Mildred McClung.
She is survived by: her grandson Kody LaPlace; and her sisters, Margie Ellison, Delane Berdine, Beverly Clark, Pat Leatherwood, Terry Leatherwood and Kimberly Bower. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
