He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McInerney and Eva McInerney; his former wife Laurie; his siblings, Joseph "Bud", Kathleen, Florence, Jackie and Agnes; and his stepdaughter Heather Chambers.
He is survived by: his wife Janet McInerney; his children, Jayla Cline (Kenneth) of Metamora, MI, Christopher McInerney (Heather) of Columbiaville, MI and Nicholas Jamison (Joe) of Sioux Falls, SD; his stepchildren, Kim Aguinaga (Steven) of Riley, MI, Ron Heins (Susan) of Warren, MI and Rob Heins of Metamora, MI; and his grandchildren, Seth Laidler (Heather), Jared Laidler (Michelle), Robert McInerney (Emily), Brendan McInerney (Alayna), Jessica Tubbs (Chad), Seth Aguinaga, Chase Aguinaga, Katelyn Spencer (Sam), Brooke Ventimiglia (Peter), Makayla Heath (Dan), R. J. Heins, Nyles Chambers (Nikki), Bailey Chambers, Julian Chambers and Dawson Chambers. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
