It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Henderson of Columbiaville, Michigan, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on May 26, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Henderson and Phyllis Henderson (Tyson); and his sister-in-law Betty Erickson. He is survived by: his wife Judy Henderson (Erickson); his children, Douglas Henderson (Beth) of Lapeer, Jeffrey Henderson (Cathy) of White Lake and Jennifer Doyle (Art) of Lapeer; his grandchildren, Ryan Ward (Sarah) of Davison, Alex Henderson (Miyuki) of London, England, Erica Ingles (Ken) of Lapeer, Haley Ward (Jarrett Durant) of Colorado, Lindsay Henderson of Portland Oregon, Meredith Wildey (Tim) of Davison and Jamie Henderson of White Lake; his great grandchildren, Isa, Rowan, Gemma Ward and Timmy Wildey; his brother Gilbert Henderson (Myrna) of Brighton; and his brother-in-law Gene Erickson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made payable to Lapeer Community Schools and to the attention of Erica Ingles, to be used for a capital improvement fund.
