It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin R. Hollingshead of Columbiaville, Michigan, born in Grand Blanc, Michigan, who passed away on June 20, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Ralph and Martha Norma Hollingshead (Metcalf); his wife Janet (Monty); his sister Joanne; his great-nephew Gabe (Janet); and his son-in-law Joel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Disarae Wright (Jeff) and Katrina Satkowiak (Joel); his sister Patricia Cater (Al); his grandchildren, Holly Wright, Nicholas Tarrant (Lindsey) and Matt Tarrant; his great grandchildren, Brody, Dakoda, Trace and Leilani; his sister Patricia Carter (Al); his nephews, Mike Pastukov (Mary) and Scott Shepard (Tina); and his close friends, Ted, Ralpha, Brad, DeEtta, Bruno, Debbie, Kathy, Joe and Greg.
Following his wishes he has donated any of his useable organs and was cremated. In lieu of flowers or contributions we ask that you plant a tree in his honor.
