She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern McQueen and Marie McQueen (McClain); her husband Douglas "Wayne" "Bootman" Adkins; her sister Margaret Davis; and her grandson Christopher Adkins.
She is survived by: her children, Angela Niles (Carl), Douglas Adkins and Rick Adkins (Pamela); and her sisters, Barbara George, Dorothy Zinn (Sam), Beverly Zinn, Karen Betz (Larry) and Nancy Springsteen (Dan). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, other loving family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West Forest Methodist Church, in Helen's memory.
