He was predeceased by: his parents, Viva Mae and Guy F. Patton Sr.; his granddaughter Sarah Jo Patton; and his significant other Helen Lorraine Patton. He is survived by: his sister Pat; his close friend Richard Morgan; his son Richard Guy Patton (Sharon); his grandchildren, Beth Ann Emmons (Shane), Michael Guy Patton and Jonathan Lawrence Patton; and his great grandchildren, Violet Ann Emmons, Ada Love Emmons, Matthew Guy Patton, Eliana Grace Patton and Selah Wren Patton.
