He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Roy Schaar (Chet) and Barbara Ann Schaar; and his niece Jillian. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Sue Schaar; and his children, Miles David Hepinstall, Heather Marie Moeggenberg and Erica Ethel Leiner.
