He was predeceased by: his parents, Minord M. Schipper and Anna M. Schipper (VanSingle); his wife Helen Ann Dykstra; his daughter Debra Kay Hayes; and his brother Willis Schipper (Bill).
He is survived by: his sons, Chad T. Schipper (Sharon Hagen) and Tod M. Schipper of Colon; his son-in-law Marion Hayes (Chris) of Washington; and his grandchildren, Tyler Schipper (Kirsten) of Colon and Megan Schultz (Turner) of East Leroy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
If desired memorials may be made to either the Colon United Methodist Church or the Colon Historical Society.
