It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susanna Ora (Kirtley) Robinson of Colon, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 2, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Koch and Susanna Koch (Matzo); her former husband Earl Lee Kirtley; her husband Ronald C. "Robbi" Robinson; her daughter Darlene Sue Kirtley; and her siblings, Edwina Budzik, Mary Jackson, Jean Paduk, Frieda Martin and Edwin Koch.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Kirtley (Sharry) of Sturgis, Linda Mann (Jurgen) of Germany, Heather Eckhardt (Steve) of Sturgis and Sheryl Benjamin (Michael) of Sturgis; and her siblings, Phyllis Costello of Detroit and John Koch of Detroit. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
Due to the current conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic and limitations of gatherings, a memorial service honoring and celebrating the life of Susanna Robinson will be held at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Colon at a later date to be announced.
