He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Hassenger and Marian Hassenger (Luegge); his wife Doris Trine of Peter's Lutheran Church; his brother Martin Hassenger; and his niece Samantha Hassenger.
He is survived by: his children, Karin Hassenger of Atlanta, GA and Kurt Hassenger (Amber) of Jonesboro, GA; and his brothers, Paul Hassenger (Cindy) and David Hassenger (Katherine). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
