In the sacred silence of farewell, Roger is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Spillers and Garnett Roth; and his wife Geraldine Ann Spillers (Jeri). He is survived by: his children, Sharon Gatchell of Decatur, Tom Spillers (Robyne) of Bentonville and Dave Spillers of Colon; and his brother Steve Spillers (Linda) of Fort Wayne.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schipper Funeral Home (308 S Blackstone Ave #9340, Colon, MI 49040). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations be made to either the Colon Rescue Squad or Heartland Hospice.
