He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Pemberton and Marsha Pemberton (Rhynes); his stepfather Calvin Hall; and his brothers, Michael Pemberton, Gerald Pemberton and Timothy Pemberton.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Stroup; his children, Jesse Pemberton (Carrie) of Union City and Tracie Coleman of Texas; his stepdaughters, Tonya Gardner of Colon, Fawnda Gardner of Colon and Rhonda Meyer (David) of St. Charles, Illinois; his granddaughter Amanda Hunnaman; his great grandchild Colson Lynd; and his siblings, Linda Janes of Joliet, Shari Mathias of Streeter, Illinois and Duane Hall. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
