With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard C. Bower of Colon, Michigan, who passed away on June 8, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold C. Bower and Iola Bower Richard (Stewart); his daughter Cheryl Lynn Bower; and his siblings, Dennie Bower and Jane Wagner.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann VanVoorhees of Colon; his children, Anne Bower of Kalamazoo and David Bower (Katie) of Dewitt; his grandchildren, Kyle Jager of Detroit, Justin Jager (Anna) of Austin, Trent Bower of Dewitt and Kelcie Bower of Mason; his great grandchildren, Jack, Mia and Lily Jager; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Beth Bower of Colon and Roger Wagner of Colon.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made in Richard's memory to either St. Paul's Lutheran Church or the Colon Rescue Squad.
