Orville L. Shook Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Orville L. Shook of Colon, Michigan, who passed away on August 22, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Orville may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur K. Shook and Ilo P. Shook (Fair); his wife Betty G. Shook; his son Dale L. Shook; and his grandson Shawn Shook.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry L. Shook (Karen) of Colon and Lorie Wattles (John) of Sherwood. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations be made to either the American Cancer Society, Michigan Children's Leukemia Foundation, or the Colon Rescue Squad.
