Elizabeth A. Bower Obituary
In loving memory of Elizabeth A. Bower of Colon, Michigan, born in Marshall, Michigan, who departed this world on November 1, 2024 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Manley VanVoorhees and Frances VanVoorhees (Noneman); her husband Richard C. Bower of Paul's Lutheran Church; and her daughter Cheryl Lynn Bower. She is survived by: her children, Anne Bower of Kalamazoo and David Bower (Katie) of Dewitt; her grandchildren, Kyle Jager of Detroit, Justin Jager (Anna) of Austin, Trent Bower of Dewitt, Kelcie Morgan (Bower) and Andrew Morgan of Mason; her great grandchildren, Jack, Mia and Lily Jager; and her sister Frances "Frannie" Koehl (Ted).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (484 S Burr Oak Rd, Colon, MI 49040). A burial was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at the Lakeside Cemetery (57368 Farrand Rd, Colon, MI 49040).
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial donations be directed to either the Colon Rescue Squad or St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
