He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thaxton and Ramona Thaxton (Davis). He is survived by: his siblings, Debra O'Connell (David) of Sturgis, James Thaxton (Ann) of Murfreesboro, Jeff Thaxton (Pam) of Colon and Lisa Schwartz (Larry) of Kalamazoo; and his aunt Sara Jean Thaxton.
