He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Watson and Sarah Watson; his wife Teresa Watson; and his siblings, George Watson, Mary Pounders, Marilyn Patti, Sue Machado and Sharon Watson.

He is survived by: his children, Carl Watson (Karey) of Coloma and Crystal Sams (Brad) of Fredericksburg, VA.; his siblings, Patricia Quinn (Sam) of Benton Harbor, Lawrence Watson (Audrey) of Benton Harbor, Bob Watson (Rose) of Coloma, Jim Watson (Sherry) of Coloma and Don Watson (Dawn) of Coloma; his grandchildren, Grady Watson (Hailey), Nikolaus Sams, Meris Watson, Catherine Sams and Audrey Sams; and his great grandchild Emberly Watson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the North Berrien Military Rites Team.
