He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Sue Wohlfeil; his son Brant D. Gerard; his granddaughter Dorothy Marie Gerard; and his brothers, Mark Douglas Gerard and David Wayne Gerard.
He is survived by: his sons, Brian D. Gerard (Diane) and Earl Gerard (Bobbi); and his daughter-in-law Amy Diaz. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
