She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mattes and Lucille Mattes (Hart); her sister Margaret Rose Shripka; her nephew Tommy Lyons; and her siblings-in-law, Sharon Mattes, Alan Shripka and Donald McInerney.
She is survived by: her husband Richard McInerney; her children, Jeanette and Allan (Kim); and her grandchildren, Meagan and Matt McInerney. She is also survived by brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be offered to the Friends of the Pere Marquette Rail Trail, an organization that maintains the trail.
