He was predeceased by: his parents, Worthy Berk and Dessie Berk (Lower). He is survived by: his wife Fern of Coleman; his sons, Richard (Suzanne) of Arlington and Keith of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and his friend Paul Newman. He is also survived by two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
