With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Schaar of Coleman, Michigan, who passed away on July 3, 2022 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Joslin and Alice Joslin (Davis); her husband Clarence Schaar; and her daughter Sharon Curtis. She is survived by: her children, Dorothy, Gayla Yats (Jim) of Coleman, Judy Shepard (Larry) of Riverdale and Dennis Schaar of Clare. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 39 great great grandchildren, and 4 great great great grandchildren, as well as many other extended family.
