She was predeceased by: her grandson Zakry Hoag. She is survived by: her parents, Sandra K. Smith (Ovens) and Jim "Smitty" Smith; her children, Jaikob Hoag (Ellysa) and Baylee Hoag (Meagan Taylor); her sister Kimberly Smith; and her aunts, Katrine and Karen.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dutcher Funeral Home (440 W Chicago St, Coldwater, MI 49036).

Memorials may be directed to the Susan G. Komen Cancer Foundation or University of Michigan Cancer Center.
