He is survived by: his wife Shirley Brouse; his children, Connie, Thelma, Walter Jr., Chester and Preston Ward; his siblings, Bruce Ward of McKee, KY and Virginia Custer of Coldwater; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Anthony, Austin, Justin, Terry, Elena and Autumn Ward.
