She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Lytle and Ruby Lytle (Vosburgh); her former husband L. Max Foglesong; her husband A. L. "Bill" Faunce; and her siblings, Harriet Wielgos and Glenn Lytle Jr..

She is survived by: her daughter Leslie Gosling (Bruce) of White Pigeon; her grandchildren, Tamara Carver of Sturgis, Joshua Hahn of White Pigeon and Megan Gosling (Jack Johnston) of Plymouth, MI; her great grandchild Savanah Hahn of Sturgis; her niece Patricia Allabach of Sturgis; her nephew Pete Wieglos (Sue) of Bronson; her great-nephew Ruston Walker (Marni); and also, Mercedes Moore (Al) and Alice Moore of Mount Pleasant, MI..

Masks will be required for both visitation and services while practicing social distancing.

Memorial donations are suggested to Kindred Hospice of Portage or the Bronson First United Methodist Church.

“Hello. My name is Carolyn. I'm from Australia. I was lucky enough to count myself as a friend of Shirley's. It was my absolute honour to meet her way back in 2012 when we both attended Pitchfest in Las Vegas. She was the loveliest of ladies. We exchanged letters for years. I am so very sorry to hear of her passing. I would like to send my condolences to her family and friends. I wish I had kept in touch this past year. I hope the Lord took her peacefully in her sleep.”
