He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Wygant and Margo Wygant (Caywood). He is survived by: his sons, Josh Wygant (Jenni) of Three Rivers and Esteban Wygant of Bronson; his stepgrandsons, Mason and Oliver of Three Rivers; his siblings, Victoria Reinoehl (Randy) of Sturgis and Thomas Wygant (Birgit) of Athens; his stepsiblings, Gloria Tate of Sturgis, Larry of Sturgis and Mike Barnett of Sturgis; his stepmother Joyce Wygant; and his nieces and nephews, Mike, Matt Ultz of Sturgis, Margo Smith of Burr Oak, Casandra Hamlin and Tara Sparrow. He is also survived by two aunts and many cousins.
