He was predeceased by: his father Richard Cooper,; his wives, Victoria Cable and Janet; and his daughter Nicole Sours. He is survived by: his mother Beverly Cooper, Sr. (Young) of Coldwater; his children, Richie Cooper (Christy) of Battle Creek and Greg Cooper (Becky) of Charlotte; his sister Pam Cooper of Jackson; his grandchildren, Bret Hook and Aly Cooper; his niece Angela Leigh; and his great-nephew Lucas Stapley.

Memorial donations are suggested to the family, checks may be made payable to Gregory Cooper.
