He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Bowerman and Thelma Bowerman (Nelson). He is survived by: his wife Vonda J. Stryker; his children, Mike Bowerman (Jerry Sue), Richard Theodore Bowerman and Tamara Schulte (Tim); and his grandchildren, Michael Haller, Richard John Bowerman (Jenna), Katie Bowerman, Jessica Schulte and Lucas Schulte.

Memorials may be directed to Forgotten Man Ministry of Branch County or East Gilead Missionary Church.
