She was predeceased by: her parents, William Giertz and Gertrude Giertz (Kennedy); her husband Leo Weis of Hancock; her sons, William Weis and Patrick Weis; her granddaughter Katie Weis; her siblings, William, Fred Giertz, Geraldine Pioch and Sharon Cobb; and her brothers-in-law, Joseph Ducher and Al Baert.
She is survived by: her grandson Brad Weis (Renee) of Holland; her great grandchild Beau Martin of Coldwater; her sisters, Lucille Ducher, Mildred Baert and Nora Weaver; and her siblings-in-law, Irene Giertz and Melvin Pioch. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the Katie Weis Memorial Scholarship Foundation or the Burnside Senior Center in Coldwater.
