She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Edward Roby and Esther Elizabeth Phelps (Roettger); her husband Paul Linwood Shorter; her son Keith; her son-in-law Richard Garn; and her siblings, Elnora Wilcox, Louise Wilcox and Theodore Roby.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Shaw (Dennis) of Big Rapids and Connie Garn of Coldwater; her grandchildren, Heather Zocco (John), Aaron Garn (Mindy), Caleb Garn (Angie) and Tyler Garn (Lucy); her great grandchildren, Isaac, Noelle Zocco, Maddie, Maxwell Garn, Deacon, Josie Garn and Ruby Garn; and her sisters, Bonnie Johnson of Charlotte and Patricia Phelps of Albion.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility in Coldwater.
